Daddy leaves before I wake up.
A little boy reveres his truck-driving dad. A little boy tells the story of what his dad does during his long day of driving a truck. Startlingly vivid graphic images of a big rig rendered in vibrant colors and compelling compositions make life on the road seem exotic and beautiful even as the story brings the father and son together at the end of the day.

Nathan Clement is a graphic artist by profession and a truck aficionado by choice. Nathan has worked in communications for over seventeen years. He has owned a printing company, designed books, worked as an art director for an ad agency, and currently illustrates and writes full-time. He earned his BFA in art and writing from Indiana Wesleyan University. Nathan lives with his wife in Indianapolis, Indiana. Drive is his first picture book.
